History and Info
Basin Gold is a relatively new organization, but the experience and history of those behind it have deep roots in the Produce Industry. Its Member/Owners are as follows:

Formed in early 1994 as a way to maintain customer service on a year-round scale, Basin Gold has been able to broaden its scope to adapt to an ever changing Marketing environment. Of the member companies, nearly all are involved in the growing, packing and shipping of fresh market Potatoes on a national scale. Our summer harvest season runs from Mid-July through late October at which time each company will begin a Winter-Spring storage season. The members then take turns staggering their packing & shipping times throughout the winter and following spring. A good balancing act is necessary in order to both fulfill customer needs, yet hold enough product in storage so that it will last until the next summer harvest.
Blue Sky, Bud-Rich Potato, and Skone & Connors Produce are also involved with Onions as well as Potatoes. This includes growing, packing & shipping. Depending on variety, Onions are available from early August into the following Spring. Shipped varieties include Yellows, Reds and Whites. Call Basin Gold for availability
